QUANTIFISENS Expert Group Meeting

QUANTIFISENS is a regional alliance of industry and research. QUANTIFISENS stands for omnifunctional, quantum-inspired fibre sensor systems – QUANTum-Inspired, omnifunctional FIber SENSor systems – and describes a novel holistic approach to solving complex, sensory customer problems with the help of optical fibres, the relevant measurement technology as well as innovative self-learning software, in order to provide adapted fully integrated sensor solutions for broad areas of application in different markets and to enable long-term developments in quantum technologies for a sustainable innovative leap in fibre sensor technology.

The EAH Jena is the largest and most research-intensive university of applied sciences in the Free State of Thuringia.     We want to make the research-based transfer of ideas, knowledge and technology more efficient as a key prerequisite for successful and results-oriented innovation processes in Jena and the East Thuringia region and thus actively contribute to tackling economic, ecological and social issues of the future as well as current transformation processes. We work openly and strengthen the transfer between science, entrepreneurship and society.
  • Model factory “3D printing, individualized production and digital working environments”
  • Exhibits from the SciTec-Precision-Optics-Materials department of the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena
  • Production Engineering and Automation Group (Prof. J. Bliedtner):
    The Production Engineering and Automation working group of the SciTec – Precision, Optics, Materials, Environment department at the Ernst Abbe University of Applied Sciences Jena has many years of experience in the fields of optical technologies, laser material processing and additive manufacturing processes.
  • AG Applied Optics (Prof. R. Brunner)
  • TOOLS – DFG-funded project of the EAH Jena
  • The Startup Lab of the EAH Jena introduces itself: as an offer for students at the EAH, it supports the entrepreneurial development of students and promotes the implementation of innovative ideas (implementation in prototypes, realization of product tests, development of concrete business models). – Examples are presented on site.
  • ZAKI: The ZAKI introduces itself and is looking for interested companies for projects in the field of AI application
