On March 13 + 14, 2024, the successful networking fair and conference will celebrate its 10th birthday.
Hamburg, November 16, 2023 – Curtain up for an anniversary: The W3+ Fair Wetzlar (w3-fair.com), the interdisciplinary networking trade fair and conference for enabling technologies, is celebrating its 10th birthday on March 13 + 14, 2024 in Wetzlar. Once again, the value chain of optical technologies will meet in the economically strong high-tech region of Wetzlar/ Central Hesse to jointly launch new innovations. The focus is on user sectors such as automotive, aerospace, medtech, life science, consumer electronics and machine & plant construction. The exhibition space is very well booked, only a few stand spaces are still available. With Carl Zeiss SMT, Oculus Optikgeräte, OptoTech Optikmaschinen, Janitza, Harmonic Drive, Helmut Hund, Hensoldt, Werth Messtechnik, Brückmann Elektronik, Christ Feinmechanik, and many others, the region itself is strongly represented. The joint Thuringian stand will build a bridge from the new W3+ Fair in Jena to the headquarters in Wetzlar. Numerous new exhibitors promise interesting new contacts, including Zeeko, Eclipse, MPA Technologie, Kowa Optimed, Wache, Codixx, IKO Nippon, Asprova, Swarotec, GVB, Glogar Umwelttechnik, OQEMA, Electronics For Engineers and ELI ERIC.
Networking for aerospace and nanotechnology
Additional contact opportunities and exciting trend topics are intended to increase the benefits for all participants of the anniversary event. Many accompanying events offer the opportunity to exchange ideas, initiate cooperation and expand professional networks.
With a get-together “Hessen in Space”, the office of the Space Coordinator of the Hessian State Government is inviting interested companies for the first time to network at the W3+ Fair. There will also be a keynote speech by the Hessian Space Coordinator.
The IHK Lahn-Dill is organizing a conference on the topic of AI on the occasion of the fair. The Nanotechnology Competence Center UPOB e.V. will once again hold its two-day “High Level Expert Meeting” to accompany the fair. Visitors can also take part in the IVAM’s “Photonics Expert Group Meeting” or the VDI’s networking breakfast or have the latest findings from university research presented to them in the Campus Area.
Photonics21, AMA and the EEN are new partners
The list of competence partners of the W3+ Fair Wetzlar is long, above all the gold partners EPIC and Wetzlar Network – the co-initiator of the W3+ Fair. New on board are the European Technology Platform Photonics 21, the Association for Sensors and Measurement AMA and the European Enterprise Network EEN.
Accompanying conference en-tech.talks offers a broad spectrum of knowledge
Whether management, product development or production: at the free high-tech conference en-tech.talks, participants will receive up-to-date knowledge and inspiration on current trend topics. There will be thematic blocks on “Visions of the future from Hesse”, “Energy of tomorrow – competing technologies”, “Optics of the future” and an EPIC TechWatch.
