In May 2022, Tecnottica opened a highly specialized Coating Department, investing 1.5 million euros in two of the most effective methods for surface treatment: Electron Beam Evaporation (EBE) and Ion Assisted Deposition (IAD).
The company realizes Film Coatings that can face extreme exposure conditions, Antireflection Coatings for multiple wavelength ranges (between 250 and 2400nm | from 3.5 to 5 micron), Dichroic Coatings, Reflector Coating, metallic mirrors, Beam splitter, band pass filters, cut-on & cut-off, and much more.
This significant investment produced immediate results, and within just 6 months, the company was able to reduce production times by weeks for each batch.
