Akhetonics is creating the first all-optical XPU, a general-purpose processor for ultra-low power, high-performance computing. We are a start-up based and founded in Germany in 2021 with members from all over the EU. Our goal is to usher in a new era of processors that are extremely parallelizable, radically more power efficient and boast a much lower latency by using light instead of electrons.
