Transparente Hochleistungskeramik für Anwendungen in anspruchsvollen Umgebungen

Für Anwendungsfelder wie Defense, Tiefsee-Exploration und industrielle Prozessüberwachung werden optische Bauteile benötigt, die unter harschen Umgebungsbedingungen zuverlässig funktionieren. Am Fraunhofer IKTS werden transparente keramische Werkstoffe entwickelt, die über hohe mechanische und chemische Stabilität bei gleichzeitig hoher Transmission über einen weiten Wellenlängenbereich verfügen. Im Vortrag werden die Herausforderungen und Möglichkeiten dieses Werkstoffes vorgestellt.
